Pocklington Town AFC 1944 Team
While our club was officially founded in 1944, the spirit of football in Pocklington runs even deeper. Historical records show that a local Pocklington team was already making its mark in the 1930s — most notably in 1935, when they won both the East Riding Junior Cup and the York Division Three Cup. A team photograph from that era can be viewed in the slide gallery, offering a glimpse into the early roots of the game in our town.
Our Mission
Pocklington Town AFC is more than just a football club — we are a family built on passion, respect, and opportunity. We use football to bring people together, encourage development, and inspire future generations.
