Pocklington Town AFC Monthly Prize Draw Raffle terms and conditions

 

Thank you for supporting Pocklington Town AFC.

 

These terms and conditions refer to online and paper ticket entry to our raffle Pocklington Town AFC is the ‘Promoter’ 1.

The cost of each ticket entry into the Pocklington Town AFC raffle is £10.00 (A 60p transaction fee is added for online purchases).

You may purchase more than one ticket, but the maximum number of tickets is one hundred (£100) per season.

Payment to enter the raffle must be made in advance of the draw date. Any payment received after the draw date will be returned. 2. Notickets can be sold to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 years. The Promoter reserves the right to carry out age verification checks. 3. If a ticket is sold unknowingly to, on behalf of, or for a person under the age of 16 he/she will be exempt from the raffle and will forfeit his/her prize and the stake will be returned. 4. The Pocklington Town AFC Monthly Prize Draw is open to all UK residents aged 16 years and over. This means that entries will not be accepted from the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man and BFPOs. 5. Raffle ticket entry payments will not be accepted from business bank accounts. This includes cheques and all other forms of payment. 6. To purchase raffle tickets online entrants must be residents of Great Britain (only) and 16 years of age or over. This means that online entries will not be accepted from Northern Ireland. 7. The Promoter will run nine separate raffle draws each year. The draw dates will take place in Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr and May 8. Monies raised by this raffle will support the activities of the direct services of Pocklington Town AFC 9. Participation in this raffle can be made by returning ticket stubs to the club with appropriate payment or through this website with payment by debit card, where entrants will be notified by email of their ticket numbers. 10. Raffle tickets will be entered into the draw only when the whole payment is received. 11. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for raffle tickets which are lost, damaged, illegible or from which the prize winner cannot be identified, or for any technical failure or event which may cause the competition to be disrupted or corrupted. 12. Any ticket entries received after the closing date may miss entry into the draw and therefore will be returned 13. A random number generator is used to select raffle prize winners. 14. Prizes will be allocated in order of the tickets being drawn from the first prize down to the last one. Read full details of raffle prizes. 15. Final prize awards will be announced online on 30th September 2025 after the ticket purchase deadline. The prize awards are dependent on the number of tickets sold. If all 1400 tickets are sold, the monthly prize funds will be as follows: ● First prize: £250 ● Secondprize £150 ● Third prize: £50 The likelihood of a ticket winning any prize in our raffle is one in 1400 (if all tickets are sold) 16. If the full allocation of tickets is not sold, monthly prize funds will be as below (rounded to the nearest 100 ticket sales) 17. The result of the raffle draw is final. No correspondence will be entered into. 18. Please keep the ticket or allocated number as proof of purchase. 19. Where the Promoter is unable to contact a prize winner so that a prize remains unclaimed for six months following the Promoter's first attempt to notify the prize winner, the Promoter may apply the prize as it sees fit, including re-offering the prize in future raffles. 20. All winners are required to co-operate with the Promoter’s right to publish their win as and when deemed appropriate, and to provide proof of age when requested. 21. In the event of an error, howsoever caused, whether a printing error or otherwise and whether obvious or otherwise, which affects the competition in any way, the Promoter reserves the right to administer the raffle as though the error had not occurred. Where the Promoter deems it appropriate and/or feasible it will notify entrants of the error. 22. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in the disqualification of the entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry at their absolute discretion. 23. Refunds for payment of raffle tickets will be given under the following circumstances: 1) a person under the age of 16 took part in the raffle, including after the draw took place. 2) a duplicate payment was taken due to a Pocklington Town AFC technical connection failure, where the refund hasn't already been processed by bank transfer. 24. The Pocklington Town AFC raffle is subject to the laws of England and Wales.
