Due to the global pandemic, 2021/22 was the first full season the ladies have completed. What was the highlight of the season for you?

"Ahh there were so many. Winning the cup was huge for us but I think for me it was coming back from 3-1 down in the QF vs Hull United and going on to win on penalties."

The club has recently announced the introduction of the Wildcat sessions. How important do you think this will be for the club going forward and what positives do you hope to see?

" I think this is crucial for us to fulfil our goal of setting up girls teams at the club. We want womens football to be a success at Pocklington Town for years to come and we can do this with a strong junior set up across all age groups."

With pre-season for the ladies due to resume on the 11th August, what plans do you have lined up for the team?

"This season we will be building on lasts with our fitness and playing faster-paced football. We lost a few key players last season due to relocation and long term injuries but we have new players coming in and it’s always exciting to welcome new talent."

What are your aims for the season?

"To build on last season by retaining the cup and also being strong contenders for the league title."
