Pocklington Town AFC is committed to ensuring football is a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for all players, coaches, volunteers, and supporters.
We follow The FA’s Safeguarding Children Policy and Procedures and expect everyone involved with the club to share this commitment.

Our Principles
  1. The welfare of the child is paramount.

  2. All children, regardless of age, gender, ability, culture, race, religion, or sexual identity, have the right to be protected from abuse.

  3. All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly.

  4. Working in partnership with children, their parents/carers, and other organisations is essential for safeguarding.

Reporting Concerns

You do not need to decide if abuse has taken place — but you must report any concerns.
Your role is to pass the information on to the Club Welfare Officer or relevant authority.
